Our review process

The structured steps behind SupplementPanda reviews.

Last updated May 13, 2026

Step 1: Product and claim intake

We collect packaging, ingredient lists, advertised benefits, and dosing. This defines what must be fact-checked.

Step 2: Evidence review

We search peer-reviewed literature and major reference resources to see whether each claim is supported, overstated, or unsupported. Dosages are compared with ranges used in human studies when available.

Step 3: Safety and interactions

We review common side effects, vulnerable populations, labeling warnings, and, where relevant, regulatory communications. Safety content is written in plain language.

Step 4: Expert and editorial review

Articles with medical implications are reviewed by a qualified reviewer when feasible (see bylines). Editors check balance, clarity, and whether uncertainty is communicated fairly.

Step 5: Publication and disclosures

We publish with clear affiliate or sample disclosures when applicable. Fact-check notes and badges appear when a piece completes our internal verification checklist.

Step 6: Monitoring and updates

We revisit popular guides when formulations change, major studies publish, or official warnings appear. Meaningful updates receive a refreshed date when possible.

Our process exists because readers deserve traceable reasoning—not slogans. If you spot an error, contact us with sources and we will investigate.
